Rapak, one of the world's largest suppliers of bag-in-box packaging, has opened a sales office in Russia to provide dedicated localised support for this important market.

The office and warehouse facility in the Moscow region, together with an additional warehouse near Anapa on the northern coast of the Black Sea, will enable Rapak to offer deliveries on a DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) basis throughout the country.

The new office will allow faster service due to shorter delivery times, closer contact and a better understanding of customer requirements. Its key personnel have extensive knowledge and experience of the bag-in-box packaging format for a wide variety of end markets.

Rapak Vostok will offer a comprehensive range of bag-in-box packaging, filling formats and other related services, meeting the growing demand for this type of packaging from customers throughout Russia, where bag-in-box's liquid packaging format is efficient, versatile and cost-effective generating opportunities in markets such as wine, water, soft drinks, aseptic or ESL filled liquid foods and chemicals.
